Our Background
OCH guides are passionate about predator hunting, with more than 35 years of experience. In addition to being great hunters, our guides understand coyote behavior, habitat, and patterns. This enables our guides to successfully locate and call one of North America's most elusive predators - coyotes.
Our Edge
Our guides drive thousands of miles and spend hundreds of hours scouting rural areas across Oregon, Idaho, and Nevada to identify premium locations for our guided hunts. We want our clients to experience a successful hunt.
Unlike traditional guided hunts, OCH employs "decoy" dogs to locate, lure (i.e., decoy), and recover coyotes. This not only increases success probability but also adds an exciting dynamic to the hunt. The dogs are heavily relied upon during the spring and summer months. During the fall and winter months, the dogs are often used for recovery. Hunting with dogs provides a unique and engaging method to enhance the hunter's experience.
Predator hunting equipment is expensive. For those needing hunting equipment to enjoy the hunt, OCH will provide predator-specific rifle systems, including industry leading suppressors and optics (including thermal optics).
